This is Sarah Shelton’s (she/her/hers) first year on the Hoofbeat staff and she is very excited to be able to write about the news of MN for her senior year. She is eager to read and write in a journalist setting and be involved in the news outlet for her peers. She is happy to have found another community that is supportive and creative in school and that she feels she can be herself. Other than journalism, Sarah also is involved with debate and lots of volunteering with her community. When Sarah is not at work or school, you can always find her with her best friends laughing a lot. Sarah dreams of moving back to her hometown of Chicago and having at least two cats.
