Rylie Mendez, Staff Writer
This is Rylie’s first year on the Hoofbeat. She’s excited to be part of the team as a staff writer! Outside of journalism, Rylie loves music and art. She is a member of the mixed varsity show choir, Infinity, and plays tenor saxophone. She was also a part of the stage ensemble for “Aida” and “Tarzan”. Rylie spends a lot of her time reading, hanging out with her adorable Husky puppies, or eating more ice cream than any human should. She can’t wait to spend her junior year writing lots of interesting stories for the Hoofbeat.
