This is Michaela’s first year on the Hoofbeat. She is beyond thankful to be writing for this highly successful newspaper alongside this talented group of young writers. Outside of her writing for the Hoofbeat, Michaela is involved in the Mustang Mentoring program, Amnesty club, and volunteering at the Red Cross. When she’s not studying into the late hours of the night, she can be found reading, scrolling through Pinterest, listening to Ed Sheeran, or drinking an overpriced latte in one of Omaha’s many coffeehouses. Michaela hopes for a productive year, and wishes only success for her fellow writers.
