This is Cooper’s (they/them/theirs) first year on the Hoofbeat staff, where they are a staff writer, and so excited to begin their journey into the world of journalism. Being a junior this year, they’ve spent the last few years involved with the student community through forensics, where they got the writing and researching skills needed to help keep the students at Millard North informed. The’ve been dealing with this very unique, very strange school year through cooking, photography, and taking long drives, all things they plan on making permanent hobbies out of.
